Vestibular/Concussion rehabilitation course is an evidence-based course designed to equip healthcare professionals with the skills and knowledge to evaluate and treat a broad range of patients and athletes with vestibular disorders or concussions.
Course Description:
This evidence-based course is designed to equip healthcare professionals with the skills and knowledge to evaluate and treat a broad range of patients and athletes with vestibular disorders or concussions. You’ll learn to conduct thorough assessments and implement effective, evidence-based treatments for both acute and chronic conditions. The course combines engaging lectures with hands-on lab sessions to ensure practical learning. Additionally, you will gain insights into clinical decision-making for cases requiring multidisciplinary referrals when patients face prolonged recovery. By the end of this course, you’ll have the confidence and expertise to manage vestibular disorders and concussions with precision and care.

Learning Objectives:
Following this educational activity, learners should be able to:
1: Explain the neuro-metabolic changes that occur as a result of a concussion injury.
2: Identify and perform appropriate examination tests for exertion intolerance, upper cervical dysfunction, and Vestibular/Ocular deficits based on their individual professional scope of practice.
3: Identify and perform proper BPPV examination and treatment techniques for Anterior, Posterior, and Horizontal canal BPPV.

Athletic Trainers: We are a BOC Approved Provider, #P12183. This course is approved for Category A credit for Athletic Trainers through the Board of Certification for the Athletic Trainer.
