Course Description:

The comprehensive vestibular rehabilitation course is designed to provide healthcare professionals with the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively assess and treat patients with vestibular disorders. The vestibular system plays a crucial role in maintaining balance and spatial orientation, and we play a key role in rehabilitating individuals experiencing vestibular dysfunction. The course offers comprehensive examination and treatment techniques for common as well as rare vestibular disorders. Through a combination of lectures and hands on labs you will learn evidence-based examination and treatment techniques to accurately diagnose and differentiate between various vestibular disorders and apply effective treatment techniques. By the end of this comprehensive course, you will have the expertise and confidence to effectively treat a wide variety of both common and rare vestibular disorders.

Learning Objectives:

1: Be able to perform appropriate examination and treatment techniques for BPPV for the Anterior, Posterior, and Horizontal canals.

2: Be able to identify and perform appropriate examination and treatment techniques for common vestibular disorders.

3: Be able to identify rare vestibular disorders and know when to appropriately refer.
