This comprehensive 2-day concussion management course is designed for physical therapists but appropriate for any healthcare professional who would like to dive deep and learn an evidence-based approach to concussion rehabilitation. The course offers an evidence-based guide to prepare you to evaluate and treat patients/athletes with concussions effectively. You will gain expertise in managing concussions from both acute and protracted recovery standpoints.
Through a combination of lectures and hands-on labs, this course provides in-depth information to help you confidently perform comprehensive examination techniques and implement effective interventions for treating most concussions. Additionally, the course addresses the clinical decision-making process for appropriate multi-disciplinary referrals for patients who do not recover as expected.
